Man arrested in cat shooting; cat is in stable condition

A Bend man was arrested Saturday morning on suspicion of animal abuse in the shooting of a cat with a BB gun.

Bend police began investigating when they received reports of a wounded cat at the Bend Veterinary Clinic, according to a news release.

The cat, Joey, had been shot in the head and face....
