Bend tops Summit to make the Class 5A playoffs

Playing with their backs against the wall is nothing new for the 2008 Bend High Lava Bears.

Down 6-0 to Summit early in the first quarter on Friday night, the Lava Bears scored 30 consecutive points to win the final Intermountain Conference football game of the season for both teams.
