Bend woman wins XTERRA title

MAKENA, Hawaii — Bend resident Kathy Frank won her age group in the XTERRA Triathlon World Championship on Sunday on Maui.

Frank finished the race in 5 hours, 51 minutes, 52 seconds. She was the only competitor in the women’s 60 and over division, finishing 479th overall.
