Smith camp backpedals on his claim of visiting every county

Senator actually went to 30 of 36 counties in the past two years

During a campaign stop and radio interview last week, Republican U.S. Sen. Gordon Smith told reporters that he visits every Oregon county each year, but on Monday his campaign corrected the statement, saying Smith had visited 30 out of 36 counties in two years.
