Bend City Council approves 11 layoffs

Revenue shortfall of $1M means more budget cuts

Eleven city employees are set to lose their jobs in Bend’s third round of budget cuts — and an additional 19 vacant positions in the city’s police, fire, public works and other departments will not be filled.
