Roddick rallies, reaches semifinals at China Open

BEIJING — Second-seeded Andy Roddick defeated Juan Carlos Ferrero 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 Friday and reach the semifinals of the China Open.

Roddick will face unseeded Bjorn Phau in the semifinals, with Dudi Sela playing Rainer Schuettler in the other.
