Football player Andros, 86

NORMAN, Okla. — Plato Gus Andros, a guard for Jim Tatum’s 1946 Oklahoma football team who also played professionally with the Chicago Cardinals, has died. He was 86.

Andros died Monday after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease, said his son, Vincent Andros.
