In Deschutes, planners look for $200,000 to prevent more layoffs

If Deschutes County wants to keep its long-range planners working through June without any layoffs, it will have to ask the County Commission for an injection of about $200,000 from the general fund to offset decreased revenue, county staff said Tuesday.
