Money from annual event goes to charity

With a splash, 15,000 brightly colored rubber ducks poured into Mirror Pond on Sunday for the 19th annual Great Drake Park Duck Race.

A neon green duck raced to the head of the flock early on, floating on its side with black markings vaguely visible from the shores of Drake Park.
