Bend woman takes first in 100-mile run

PASADENA, Calif. — Prudence L’Heureux, 38, of Bend was the top female finisher in the Angeles Crest 100-Mile Endurance Run.

The Bend woman took the lead at about mile 30, according to the Ultrarunning Online Web site, and held her position the rest of the race.....
