Police nab gator on Gresham hiking trail

GRESHAM — Turns out, there really was a large lizard roaming the area at the end of a Gresham hiking trail.

Gresham police for weeks had been hearing reports of the creature. On Friday, they nabbed what turned out to be a 3-foot alligator.
