Bend Area Transit is offering free rides on its Ride the River shuttle Thursday. The shuttle, running between Drake Park and McKay Park, will be in operation from 11 a.m. to

6:20 p.m.

In addition to free rides on the shuttle, river floaters will be provided with life jackets to use for the day....
