Trail expansion starts at sno-park, but parking lot is still in question

Cross-country skiers venturing to the Virginia Meissner Sno-park this winter could find an unusual sight: open parking spaces on weekends.

Construction is scheduled to start Sept. 2 to double the size of the sno-park’s lot along Cascade Lakes Highway, according to the U.S. Forest....
