Haas finds no margin for error in chasing the leader

SUNRIVER — Through the first 53 holes of the tournament, Jay Haas appeared to be the golfer to beat.

But a bogey Saturday on the 54th hole, which put Haas in a one-stroke disadvantage to Fred Funk, turned out to be a precursor for the day to come.
