Fred Meyer recalls beef after E. coli warning

For the second time this summer, Fred Meyer Stores announced Saturday a ground beef recall prompted by threats of E. coli contamination in beef from its Nebraska-based supplier.

Customers should either return or throw away any family pack fresh ground beef with “sell-by”....
