Volunteers spent the weekend building a new shelter at Virginia Meissner Sno-park, about 1.5 miles into the recreation area off Century Drive. The shelter’s benefits sound like a prime real estate listing: views of Broken Top and Bend, hand-hewn logs, hilltop seclusion.
