Geothermal firm gets $145M in funds

Investment likely means more jobs at Bend’s Vulcan Power

Vulcan Power, a privately held Bend company that develops geothermal energy projects, announced Monday it will receive $145 million in financing from Denham Capital, a private equity firm based in Boston, and will likely hire more workers as a result.
