Brush fire spreads in central Washington

QUINCY — Brisk winds fanned a new wildfire across some 5,000 acres of sagebrush Tuesday night, threatening dozens of homes, condos and mobile homes and leading authorities to evacuate as many as 300 people, a Grant County official said.
