The Cascade Lakes Swim Series & Festival is scheduled for Aug. 1-3 at Elk Lake, about 30 miles southwest of Bend off the Cascade Lakes Highway.
The competitive event includes five open-water swims: a 3,000-meter race on Friday evening (Aug. 1), and races of 500 and 1,500 meters on Saturday....
