Crews fight fire in Juniper Canyon area

Blaze isn’t contained, but retardant dumps have helped quell it

A motor home that overheated and caught fire started a 25-acre blaze Saturday that closed Juniper Canyon Road south of Prineville, prompting a voluntary evacuation in the area.
