The Dead Horse Lake and Campbell Lake campgrounds and nearby boat ramps, trailheads and day-use areas on the Fremont-Winema National Forest will close July 28, according to a news release from the U.S. Forest Service.

The area will close so that crews can cut down dead and dying lodgepole pines....
