PORTLAND — The Portland Trail Blazers have hired Joe Prunty as an assistant coach.
The Sunnyvale, Calif., native spent the last three seasons as an assistant with the Dallas Mavericks. Before that, he spent nine seasons with the San Antonio Spurs.
