SANTA FE, N.M. — The pro rodeo cowboy Trevor Brazile arrived at a recent competition here one morning at 7 o’clock, after an 18-hour trip from Reno, Nev. At 10:21 a.m., he was on his horse, Stinger, ready to charge into the arena and rope a steer in less than five seconds.
