Golf carts may become newest part of Prineville’s fleet in bid to save fuel

The Prineville City Council is slated to consider the $60,750 purchase of 25 electric-powered EZ-Go golf carts to add to its fleet Tuesday.

Interim City Manager Wayne Van Matre said the council decided last year to replace the gas-powered golf carts at the Meadow Lakes Golf Course in Prineville.....
