Fallen preschooler is awake, talking

MEDFORD — A 4-year-old from California who fell nearly 25 feet at a Medford department store this week is awake and able to talk with her mother.

Alexandra Martin is at Doern-becher Children’s Hospital in Portland, where her condition is listed as serious.
