U.S. Rep. Greg Walden’s office is participating in Nike’s Reuse-A-Shoe program through the month of July.

People are asked to bring old athletic shoes to 131 N.W. Hawthorne Ave., Suite 201, Bend. Nike will recycle them to help make new high-quality sports surfaces for....
