Most of our smoky air coming from the south

California wildfires bring more haze than blazes burning in Central Oregon

A smoky haze obscured the view of the Cascades from Bend on Monday, but the small fires burning across Central Oregon were not the main culprit.

Instead, the smoke probably came from the 1,000-plus fires burning in California, officials said.
