Land bureau hopes to add herbicides to its arsenal

For some weeds, ’we don’t have a chemical that would take it out’

Killing invasive weeds on 12,000 acres of Bureau of Land Management land with four types of herbicides is kind of like building a house with just four tools, said Ken Denton, a team leader with the BLM’s vegetation treatment project.
