Deschutes sees modest uptick in jobs; May less favorable for Crook, Jefferson

Jefferson and Crook counties had higher than expected unemployment rates in May, while Deschutes County showed some signs of a stronger job picture, according to a report released Monday by the Oregon Employment Department.
