Bike Tours of Bend is both — and the company’s college-age founders are proud of the achievement

During a bicycle tour last week, Peter Daucsavage, 20, and Spencer Hill, 19, stopped the tour group at The Old Mill District to share a little bit about Bend’s history.

They noted that Clark Gable worked one of the toughest jobs at the Brooks-Scanlon mill in the early 1920s.
