ASTORIA — The Oregon Department of Agriculture has closed much of the Oregon Coast to recreational mussel harvesting.

Officials said they have found high levels of paralytic shellfish poisoning toxins in the mussels.

People harvesting scallops on the coast are being advised to eat only....
