A gem once again

Nearly two years after Diamond Lake was poisoned, anglers are now enjoying success for rainbow trout

Anglers are back at Diamond Lake for the second year of its dramatic turnaround.

About 50,000 rainbow trout, holdovers from last year and now 12 to 15 inches in length, are in the lake, which was recently stocked with 43,000 additional trout, a mix of legal- and trophy-sized fish.
