Nearly 1,000 in Bend lose power

A tree falling on a wire caused a power outage in Bend on Monday, according to Art Sasse, a spokesman for Pacific Power.

At 5:41 p.m., 967 customers around Industrial Way, just north of The Old Mill District, lost power.

Crews were dispatched, and power was restored three hours later, at 8:41....
