Voters approve 2 additional councilors as town grows

MADRAS — Culver voters approved changes to their city’s charter for the first time since 2000.

Residents voted to increase the number of city councilors from four to six and give the mayor voting rights. Currently, the mayor only votes in the event of a tie.
