Former police chief drops appeal against McMinnville

MCMINNVILLE — Former Police Chief Wayne McFarlin has dropped his appeal of a lawsuit against the city of McMinnville.

In return, the city waived the $3,297 in fees awarded to it by a federal judge.

McFarlin resigned in the fall of 2005, but his suit claimed Mayor Ed Gormley and others....
