The snow line is heading up the mountains, and conditions are spring-like at the lower and mid elevations of the Central Oregon Cascades.
According to Deschutes National Forest trails specialist Chris Sabo, the snow line is about 4,500 feet in the Bend and Sunriver area and about 3,700 feet west....
