Controlled burn takes place near Sisters

Smoke in the air near Sisters on Monday was from a controlled burn in the Deschutes National Forest nearby. The burn area covered about 42 acres and was about three miles northwest of Sisters, according to a news release from the Deschutes National Forest. While the burns will not continue....
