The hotel and restaurant part of The Riverhouse Hotel & Convention Center in Bend is getting a makeover.

Renovation and remodeling work is under way to update the 1970s-era hotel to give it an upscale, Northwest-lodge feel, a marketing representative for the family-owned business said....
