Local drivers back out of One Lap of America

Gordon Aram and Jerry Anderson, both of Bend, have decided not to compete in the One Lap of America race, set for May 2-10, Aram said on Wednesday.

Aram cited a lack of funds and increasing gas prices as the main reasons behind the decision to back out of the race.
