Oregon sees slow income growth

Rate reflects state’s relatively rural nature, local official says

Oregon’s per capita personal income grew at a slower rate than 37 states in the U.S. last year and was 10 percent below the national average, according to a year-end study released Wednesday by the Washington, D.C.-based U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis.
