Low scores for an old school in Redmond

The school district’s $110 million bond to appear on the May ballot includes funds to replace the almost-90-year-old - and outdated – Evergreen Elementary School building.

REDMOND — Evergreen Elementary School might need a new fire escape. And a new heating system. Then, to hold it all up, the building needs an entirely new support structure, according to a new report by an architecture firm hired by the Redmond School District.
