Friends of Jimmy Alexander Jr., a 20-year-old Redmond man, are raising money to help pay for his treatment for a chiari malformation. The brain deformity, which affects 1 in 1,000 individuals, has left Alexander disabled with visual, gait, speech and swallowing problems.
