The Metolius River is about to get more than 900 new additions.
As part of a project to restore fish habitat for trout and chinook salmon, the U.S. Forest Service and the Upper Deschutes Watershed Council are planning to place 920 trees, some by helicopter, along the edges of the scenic river....
