Late winter storm to hit this weekend

What might be winter’s last blast could hit Central Oregon this weekend.

Rain and snow showers are expected in Central Oregon today, with highs in the low 40s, according to the National Weather Service’s Web site. The snow level will hover around 3,500 feet.
