Bend skier earns start at World Cup

WILMINGTON, N.Y. — Bend’s Kevin Francis will race on the alpine skiing World Cup circuit next season.

Francis raced to victory in the men’s super G on Tuesday at the 2008 Alpine NorAm Cup Finals at Whiteface Mountain.
