Gas leases to be auctioned, but is there natural gas?

On Thursday, the Bureau of Land Management will auction off oil and gas leases for more than 9,000 acres of the Crooked River National Grassland.

But some Eastern Oregon geologists aren’t sure there’s much oil or natural gas to find.
