Executives’ confidence wanes

Index shows big drop, but area CEOs are less pessimistic than most

The economy has already entered a recession, according to roughly half of 2,300 U.S. business executives polled for the Vistage CEO Confidence Index released Thursday by Vistage International. Several Central Oregon executives participated in the poll.
