Bend’s boys basketball team falls to Roosevelt in Class 5A’s first round

PORTLAND — After winning three must-win games to make the Class 5A boys basketball state playoffs, Bend’s season finally came to an end on Tuesday as the Lava Bears fell to Portland’s Roosevelt 71-65 in the first round of the postseason.
