Bend skier Ford finishes in fourth at Junior Worlds

FORMIGAL, Spain — Tommy Ford of Bend raced to a fourth-place finish on Friday in the giant slalom event at the FIS Junior World Championships for alpine skiing.

Ford finished with a two-run time of 1 minute and 58.24 seconds, just .05 seconds away from a podium finish.
