C.O. boarder earns spot in U.S. Open

MOUNT HOOD — Katie Williams of Bend won the women’s slopestyle event at the Burton AM Series snowboard competition at Mt. Hood Meadows on Sunday.

The victory earned Williams a wild-card spot in the U.S. Open Snowboarding Championships, set for March 17-23 in Stratton, Vt.
